Can't have an abortion?
Now what?
In the state of Georgia, there are restrictions in place that ban abortion in many cases after a heartbeat is detected. If you attempted to schedule an abortion and discovered you are too far along, you may be wondering how this can work. We get it - this is not something you chose. We are here to help you navigate your remaining options.
There are still two pregnancy choices available in Georgia: adoption and parenting. No matter which journey you select, we are here for you. We provide free pregnancy and parenting resources to help you prepare for the future. These resources include:
-
Fetal development education
-
Healthy pregnancy education
-
Adoption education and referrals to Georgia-licensed agencies
-
Essential supplies (diapers, baby clothes, bottles, equipment, toys, and more)
-
Community groups for new and expectant parents
-
Referrals to local resources, including medical services, public services, and food assistance
We can assist with problem-solving through the things that are standing in the way of the future you hoped for.
As your pregnancy continues, it is important that you receive medical care from an OBGYN.
If you have not established medical care with an OBGYN, we can offer pregnancy confirmation services free of charge. At your appointment, we provide referral information for local OBGYN care. We also provide information to help you apply for Pregnancy Medicaid. If you qualify for Medicaid insurance, pregnancy-related visits are covered.
